Micro Electro Mechanical System 150M

Micro Electro Mechanical System 150M

The 150M is a highly cost-effective MEMS inertial/satellite integrated navigation system. It integrates a three-axis gyroscope, three-axis accelerometer, three-axis magnetometer, a barometric pressure sensor, and a tri-mode BD/GPS/GLONASS receiver. It can measure the velocity, position and attitude of the carrier, and output compensated angular rate, acceleration, magnetic heading, barometric pressure, temperature and other data.

MEMS Gyro (Microelectromechanical Systems Gyro) is a type of sensor that uses microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) technology to measure the angular velocity of an object. It consists of a small mechanical structure that is suspended on a microchip and is sensitive to angular motion. As the object rotates, the mechanical structure is displaced due to the Coriolis force, and this displacement is then converted into an electrical signal that can be used to calculate the angular velocity. MEMS gyros are small, lightweight, and low-cost, making them a popular choice for applications such as smartphone navigation, virtual reality, and robotics. However, they are not as accurate or stable as some other types of gyros, such as fiber optic gyros.

    Key Features

    Superior Bias Stability

Utilizing advanced embedded digital signal processing technology, BSD50 incorporates an integrated adaptive filter that reduces bias stability and angle random walk (ARW) by 50%-70%. This ensures unparalleled accuracy and reliability.

    Temperature Resilience

BSD50’s innovative design minimizes the impact of temperature variations, enhancing its performance in extreme conditions.

    Robust Construction

Engineered to withstand high levels of shock and vibration, BSD50 is ideal for military and industrial applications where durability is critical.

    Compact & Lightweight

Compared to traditional electro-mechanical gyros, it features a simpler structure, no moving parts, and no wear components, resulting in faster start-up times, reduced maintenance, and a smaller footprint.

    Advanced Technology

As an angular speed sensor that integrates optical, mechanical, and electrical systems, based on the Sagnac effect and closed-loop control testing technology, BSD50 measures and processes the phase difference generated by two counter-propagating light beams, enabling precise angular rate detection and feedback within a fully closed-loop system.
