Optical Capsule
Optical capsules are multi-sensor equipment that integrate optical, infrared, laser and other technologies, which are mainly used for reconnaissance, surveillance, target location and fire guidance. According to their functions, they can be divided into reconnaissance, detection and guidance.
The main functions of the photovoltaic capsule include:
Reconnaissance and surveillance, target imaging using visible light and infrared imaging, identification of vehicles, personnel and other targets, and continuous tracking.
Laser ranging and positioning: Accurately measure the distance to the target, combined with an inertial guidance system to obtain highly accurate coordinates.
Fire Guidance: Provides laser illumination or target data to missiles, UAVs and other weapons to improve strike accuracy.
Support zoom, autofocus, image enhancement, adapt to day and night battles. Stable gimbal ensures clear images. It can be installed on platforms such as UAVs (aircraft, rotorcraft, composite wings), unmanned vehicles, unmanned boats and patrol bombs, and is suitable for border defense, battlefield reconnaissance and precision strikes.
With high precision, high adaptability and multi-mode combat potential, the optical-electronic capsule has become a key equipment for modern unmanned combat operations.
